walt disney presents: villians & Heroes: the art of disney costumes

Early February was the beginning of my set/stage design journey.

I had the pleasure of working ALONGSIDE some extremely creative women to build a Photo Booth for the birmingham MUSEUM or art & walt disney event! It was a great learning experience that’s definitely going on my resume! 😁

If you haven’t heard or gone to see the “Heroes & Villains The Art Of The Disney” then you really should! These are costumes, dresses, & props worn by the actors from iconic Disney movies. I love the fact that this exhibit focuses on the costume designers and the craftsmanship of each piece is really stunning. They even have some of the original drawing from the Cinderella movies (including Brandy’s Cinderella dress) which is crazy to see in person.

If you’re an artist, cosplayer, costume designer, fashion designer, and/or into theatre you really should go see this exhibit! It’s really inspiring! It’ll be up till August.
